If you like peace and quiet then Westfield is a perfect location. The house is extremely well equipped, feeling like a home rather than a holiday house. The beach was almost always empty . We enjoyed simple pleasures of cooking sausages on the beach, watching out for dolphins and seals, and crabbing at Lochranza, where they are prolific. We enjoyed both the Arran Show and Highland Games, which seem the same as always, a reminder that simple things in life can give such pleasure. The sunsets were amazing and the midges few. A perfect family holiday for all three generations.
